Time Swap Drop In Sessions

Time Swap Drop In Sessions

What do you like doing that could help others in your community? Do you need a bit of help yourself? Then why not find out more about Time Swap?

Earn time by helping and sharing skills & talents with a member in your community and then spend that time on something you would like help with or maybe you would like to learn something new?

1 hour given = 1 hour back

Exchanges can include gardening, computer skills, cooking, sewing, basic DIY, dog walking, music lessons, cup of tea & chat etc.

The Erewash branch of the scheme has just signed it's 100th member and countywide Time Swap is growing.

The scheme is very flexible - you can do as few or as many swaps as you want. It's okay to do one swap a week or one swap a year, whatever suits you.

Carers can benefit from the scheme in many ways - such as getting help from another member with tasks like gardening, cleaning, a lift to a hospital appointment or even someone to sit with the person you look after for an hour. You can give back time to the scheme by doing something you enjoy - for example if you enjoy a walk to get some fresh air, you can turn that into a Time Swap by talking someone else's dog along with you if they can't get out to walk it. The possibilities for swaps are endless!
