Free Manual Handling & First Aid Training for Carers - New Dates, Book Now

Derbyshire Carers Association have arranged further sessions of their popular Manual Handling and First Aid courses.

The manual handling training will help support anyone who has physical caring responsibilities for a loved one. This free course is specifically designed for the needs of Carers.

First Aid is useful for everyone but particularly for carers. The course covers, safety, recovery positioning, choking, CPR, dressing wounds and assessing for breathing. Again this sessions are free.

The following dates and courses are available:

Blythe House Hospice, Eccles Fold, High Peak, SK23 9TJ

  • First Aid - Saturday 28 April - 10.30am to 1pm
  • Moving and Handling - Tuesday 8 May - 5pm to 7pm
  • First Aid - Tuesday 11 September - 5pm to 7.30pm

New Mills Volunteer Centre, 33-35 Union Street, New Mills, SK22 3EL

  • First Aid - Wednesday 20 June - 1pm to 4pm

Glossop Methodist Church, 48 Chapel Street, Glossop, SK13 1AT

  • Moving and Handling - Tuesday 14 August - 1pm to 4pm
