Fruit and Veg Co-op at many Derbyshire Children's Centres

Fruit and Veg Co-op at many Derbyshire Children's Centres

Many of the Children’s Centres in the county are working with local wholesalers to provide good quality, low cost fruit and vegetables to Derbyshire residents.

You do not have to care for a child to access the offer, it is open to adults too.

The fruit, vegetables and salad come in bags that contain approximately enough produce to last the week. Eggs and potatoes are also available.

If you would like to take advantage of the offer you will need to contact your nearest Children’s centre to see if they are running the scheme and, if so place your order.  Please note, Woodville Children's Centre (covering South Derbyshire and the South Dales) are not running the scheme at present.

Each centre running the scheme has a drop-in session once a week where you can go and collect your order – your centre will let you know the date and time.
