Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Celebrate Triangle of Care Award

Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Celebrate Triangle of Care Award

One of our main partners, Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (DHcFT) are hosting a celebration event on 24 Nov. The event is to celebrate DHcFT having been awarded a two star Triangle of Care award for their work with carers.

The Triangle of Care works with mental health providers across England to look at how they can implement six key standards that will see carers included, informed and better supported when they are caring for someone with a serious mental health problem.

The Trust's report was described as being "of a very good quality, honest and with very good action plans going forward" and that "the amount of work and commitment to the Triangle of Care throughout the organisation is evident." You can find out more about the Triangle of Care and how the trust supports carers on their website.

The Trust would like to say 'thank you and congratulations' to all their staff and local carers who were involved in the assessment

DHcFT would like to welcome all our Carers Champions, Carer Representatives, Partners, Stakeholders and Friends to join them for a celebration event on Friday 24th November from 2pm to 3pm in Room 1, Albany House, Kingsway.

The Trust will:

  • Have tea, coffee and cake available for everyone
  • Take time to say thank you for all your hard work
  • Provide information resources for you to take away
  • Offer guidance on how to continue working with Carers and Families
  • Provide some useful hints and tips on how to complete Triangle of Care Self-Assessments and progress Triangle of Care Action Plans

You are also welcome to stay for the Carers Rights Day Event straight after which runs from 3-5pm about Employment Rights for Carers.

If you are planning on joining us then please contact lynn.dunham@derbyshcft.nhs.uk or telephone 01246 515974 to confirm your attendance
